The Corps has approx. 46,000 members nation-wide and aims to promote a
practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force and to foster a
spirit of adventure. It develops the qualities of leadership and good
citizenship and the training is useful in both service and civilian life.
Cadets in the Nuneaton Air Training Corps (ATC) squadron are flying,
gliding, abseiling, canoeing - involved in all kinds of action, adventure
and sports, and meeting people. How far are YOU from having a brilliant
time?
You can join as a Cadet any time after you reach 13. Three months later,
after some basic training, you can fly in RAF aircraft, learn radio skills,
win sports colours and spend weeks away visiting RAF bases. Parades and
discipline? You can do it. Go on, have a go, Join Our Team.
