Having fought off stiff competition from cadets of 26 other Air Cadet units at wing level our successful medal winning athletes Flight Sergeant Jenna Rodger and Cadets Sam Carter, Paige Howitt and Grant Robey have been selected to go forward to represent the Warwickshire and Birmingham wing at the Regional Athletics Championships being held at Saffron Lane Sports Stadium in Leicester on Sunday 20 May 07.
Flight Lieutenant Ian Crewe Officer Commanding 121 ( Nuneaton ) Squadron said, “I am so proud of the effort put in by all our cadets both those who won medals and those who didn't. We only had a relatively small team this year but everyone did their very best for the Squadron with our girls doing particularly well by taking second place in the Junior Girls team and third in the Overall Girls championship
and our boys taking third place in the Junior Boys championship.”
