The Nuneaton Air Cadets will be taking part in the parade when the Freedom of the Borough of Nuneaton & Bedworth will be bestowed upon The Queen's Gurkha Signals on Sunday 26 th September 2010
Queen's Gurkha Signals currently based at Gamecock Barracks, Bramcote near Nuneaton will receive the Freedom of the Borough in a ceremony which will take place outside the Nuneaton Town Hall . The parade will set of from Dugdale Street at 11.15am and the Queen's Gurkha Signals will march through the town to the Town Hall for the Freedom of the Borough ceremony. The Standards and contingents from ex-service and cadet forces including 121 (Nuneaton) Squadron Air Training Corps will be lining the route as the Gurkha Signals march into the town centre.
The people of the Borough of Nuneaton & Bedworth, members of the ex-service community and serving members of HM Forces are once again encouraged to show their support for our troops by attending The Queen's Gurkha Signals Freedom of the Borough ceremony on Sunday 26 September.
