Having jumped his way into the Gold medal position at wing level in High Jump Nuneaton Cadet James Spreadborough has now been selected to go forward to represent Warwickshire and Birmingham at the Central & East Regional Athletic Championships at Leicester Stadium on Sunday 22 May 2011
Flight Lieutenant Ian Crewe Officer Commanding 121 ( Nuneaton ) Squadron said, “I am so proud of the effort put in by all our cadets both those who won medals and those who didn't. Everyone in the team did their very best for the Squadron with our girls doing particularly well by taking third place in the Junior Girls team and an even more impressive second place in the Overall Girls championship. We may not have come home with any of the major trophies this year but we certainly gave the opposition a good run for their money.”
